]KYPER SPACEFLIGHT APP[
This app allows its users to purchase tickets, view their flight status, check into a flight, and manage their profiles. It is designed to elicit a feeling of trustworthiness and safety and is inspired by the app architecture of flight apps. There is a heavy emphasis on simple branding, visual typographic hierarchy, and consistency throughout the app. Designed and prototyped in Figma.
}COLOR PALETTE & TYPE[
The app’s color palette of black, white, and seafoam was chosen to create a high contrast and visually striking design. Seafoam, in particular, was chosen to establish branding and create a futuristic aesthetic. Keywords that can be used to describe the color palette are technological, futuristic, and memorable.
Typography was chosen based on how neutral it was. Oftentimes, futuristic typefaces can look too eccentric or unprofessional. Inter was chosen because it resembles Helvetica, Arial, and Proxima Nova.
]WIREFRAMES[
Wireframes were quickly iterated through in order to come up with a foundation for the structure and style of the app. These wireframes were created before the architecture of the app was created. App structure was finalized afterwards, and wireframes were changed and refined for the final product.
]APP ARCHITECTURE[
App architecture is designed so that each page branches off of the home page into linear paths. This is similar to how many airline apps are designed. Linear branching paths reduce complexity for the user and allows for a changeable design system.
